Anneken “Ann” Wolters

Ann Wolters was taken to her heavenly home to be in glory and in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years Jan; sons, Michael (Evelyn), and their children, Erin (Richard), Jordan, Colin and Ryan, and Marcus (Gladys), and their children Alex and Stefan; three great grandAnn Wolters was taken to her heavenly home to be in glory and in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by 5 siblings. Ann was born and raised in the Netherlands. In 1951 Ann immigrated to Ontario, Canada with her family and in 1963 married Jan Berend Wolters, who is also from the Netherlands. They started their family in Calgary which is where they have lived ever since. A Funeral Service will be held for Ann at Bethel United Reformed Church of Calgary (730 – 101 Street SW, Calgary) on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Ann to Word & Deed (www.wordanddeed.org). children, Luke, Claire and Jacob; two sisters Trudy and Mieneke of London, ON; and many more family and friends.
