Allen Norman Eby

EBY, Allen Norman November 20, 1936 – September 16, 2013 Allen Eby passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his step children, Martin Davies and Caroline Davies; grandson Greg (Michelle) Atkinson; great grandchildren, Alexander and Akasha; sister-in-law Leona Eby; brother Orville (Fran) Eby; aunt Eileen of Lacombe; very special friend Lil Thomas of Calgary; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Norman & Anna and brothers Walter and Clifford Eby. Allen was born in Stratford, ON before the family moved west and settled in Cremona. Allen spent 35 years in Calgary working for Klippers Gravel & Cement. He loved to sing and dance and would often play his guitar at social events. A Memorial Service will be held for Allen at The Downtown Friendship Centre (610 – 8 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 1:30 pm.
