Allan Francis Kindopp passed away peacefully at the age of 81.
Al was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan and raised with values that stayed with him all his life: Work hard and live simply. Al moved to Calgary to start his career as a wire line operator, proudly working in the oil field. He was transferred to Fort St. John, BC where he met Pamela. They moved to Calgary in 1973 and started a family. He later found his second home at Perri Trucking where the crew was more than co-workers, they were family.
When Al wasn’t working you could find him watching his tomatoes grow with a cold beer in hand.
He never asked for much, a small double-double and a pocket full of caramel candies. He lavished in the comfort of his favourite blue, two pocket shirt. So much so, that he bought the whole rack.
Al will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Stacey (Kris) Rzewuski; son, Trevor Kindopp; granddaughter, Isabella; brother, Donald (Lynn) Kindopp; sister, Thelma (Richard) Nagel; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Donalda; and stepfather, Nick Donison.
A Memorial Service will be held for Allan at Pierson's Funeral Service - Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
