Allan Erion passed away at the Arthur Child Cancer Centre on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 63 years.

Allan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Kim; children, Zach, Laurelie, Stephanie & Josh (Gab Rosas); siblings, Rhonda (Richard) Adrian and Glenn (Heather) Erion; along with many extended family in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. Allan is predeceased by a son, Devan.

Allan was born in Bulo Burti, Somalia while his parents were missionaries for their church. He took his elementary and middle schooling in Ethiopia, then high school in Kenya. He returned to Canada when he was 18 and went to SAIT where he took Avionics Electronics. He also got his pilot's license.

After postsecondary school and starting work in the industry, he was on a job in Yellowknife when he met Kim through church. They were married shortly after that in 1985 then started their family. Allan loved his work which took him to many locations in North America. Later on, he and Kim started their own company, Reonix Automation in 2002.

Allan had a great sense of humour and he loved to tell jokes. He was also kind hearted and caring, always willing to help when needed.

A Memorial Service for Allan will be held at Pierson's Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Livestream of the service may accessed at the following link: https://www.legacystreaming.com/allan-erion/
