On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Aaron Lee Caza of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 54 years.

Aaron’s journey began in Peterborough, Ontario, where he was welcomed into the world. His time with us was marked by kindness, strength, and a steadfast sense of integrity that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Aaron was a gifted computer programmer, a devoted son, loving family member, and loyal friend who also cherished his extended family of aunts, uncles, and relatives. He is lovingly remembered for the enduring impact he made in his community and the sense of friendship and support he extended to those around him. Aaron’s presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, providing a foundation of loyalty and understanding to friends and acquaintances alike.

A wonderful cook, Aaron shared his love through good food, warm gatherings, and laughter. His quick wit, love of puns, and perfectly timed jokes brought joy to those around him. Aaron will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to share in his life. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, genuine humility, and respect for others that continues to inspire those who knew him.

As we reflect on Aaron's life and passing, we cherish the memories and values he leaves behind. Though the loss is profound, his spirit remains alive in the hearts of all who had the honor to call him a friend.

His memory will endure, woven into the fabric of the community and the lives he touched. Aaron will be deeply missed.

Aaron is survived by his father Leo Caza; sisters April (Brian) Amack of Colorado, Robin (Michael) Shelden of Kansas; nieces Zoe (Henry) Gingerich and family, Ashley Shelden (Jimmy Carifee) and family. He was predeceased by his mother Bonnie Caza.

A small family service will be held in Colorado. Cremation will take place at Foothills Crematorium.
