Judith-Anne Clark (Nee Collins)

July 9, 1936 — June 26, 2020

Judy Clark, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 83 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Brent, their four children Michael (Deanna), Janet (Richard), all of Calgary, Richard (Renée) of Santiago, Chile, and Brenda (David) Anderson of Calgary; nine wonderful grandchildren, Zoey, Zane, Stephen, Myles, Byron, Lauryn, Sophia, Rhys, and Erik; and many other relatives and dear friends. Judy was predeceased by her brother, Dennis Collins in 1973.

Judy was raised in Adelaide, South Australia by loving parents Frank and Iris Collins. She enjoyed sports and was a particularly strong swimmer who nearly competed at the olympic level. She followed her dream of visiting America in 1958, and came to Canada for good in 1963. She married Brent Clark, the love of her life in 1964. Family was always her greatest priority and source of happiness. She had many hobbies and was a talented artist. She excelled at oil painting, calligraphy and needlework. She loved nature and the outdoors, especially the mountains. Judy had the unique ability to bring a calming peace to any situation; a sweet, determined optimism was her way of life. She loved her family and friends deeply, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

“If ever there was a true angel on this earth, it was our beautiful Judy who surrounded everything and everyone with the comforting blanket of unconditional love.”
