Anna Jane Peters

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anna Peters announce her passing away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at the age of 90 years. She passed away peacefully at Walden Heights Age Care Home in Calgary, AB. Calgary has been her home for the last 7 years.

She leaves to mourn her passing 3 sons Alvin, Menno and Paul (her “Debbie”); 3 grandchildren Lindsay (Jason), Kimmy (Dan), Jeremy (Michelle); 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. You all know who you are as she was known to you as Auntie Annie, Granny and our Queen.

Anna loved and cared for so many people. She had many friends here in Calgary and in Saskatoon.

Anna was predeceased by her husband Helmut, daughter-in-law Lillian Peters, mother Maria, father Jacob, step-mother Anna and siblings Henry, Jacob, John, Mary and Pete.

Anna was known for her infectious smile and giggles with hugs. She loved deeply and completely.

Anna requested no funeral services be held. Her cremated remains will be placed in a niche at St. Johns Cathedral (816 Spadina Cresc E, Saskatoon, SK).
